Move of the Month


Single Knee Fold

In order to truly master the Single Knee Fold we also need to look at the following things:

  • the Pilates breath

  • the stability of the pelvis

  • the flexibility of the torso

This 8 minute video covers Lateral Breathing to feed the muscles, Pelvic Tilts to better understand the difference between mobility and stability, Snow Angels to mobilise the upper body, Single Arm Raises and Leg Slides to locate a neutral spine whilst moving before finally taking you through the Single Knee Fold exercise. It incorporates all the mobility and preparation work you'll need and is suitable for most people. Enjoy!
